Flying cattle class unfortunately (was thinking of booking business class, but they didn't have three spare seats all next to each other from what I could see).
Did you consider flying
PACIFIC PREMIUM ECONOMY class? The 747 configuration is 3-2 in the rear half of the upper deck. The main deck only offers 2-2 seating.
