Always remember, please, that most trades union representatives, as well as most socialist politicians, don't take on the role to massage their egos. They really do want to make a difference to the lives of ordinary men and women. Unfortunately, to be open to "ego tripping", or taking advantages of one's position, is a huge failing of being human!
