I have top status in Hyatt as well as in Starwood. I strongly prefer Le Meridien Piccadilly in London in large part due to its location. I used to live two blocks from the Churchill, so know that neighborhood well. I find that the LM location right on Piccadilly, just off Piccadilly Circus, suits me better as a tourist. I can easily walk to many places. I have bus and subway right out the door. The Churchill is not as close to a major transit crossroads, and you need to walk a few blocks to a major tube station or bus stop. Also, I have been treated very well by this hotel, always receiving a nice upgrade. The Churchill is certainly a solid property, but I am very glad that I have Le Meridien as my go to property in London.
