Other interesting notes:
The first jet to be certified for LCY airport, and its 7.5degree approach, it has quite excellent short field performance.
The Queen's flight operates them for European trips; and Charles was certified to fly them (he overran an airport in scotland once in one)
they were also operated by Air Wisconsin as a United Express operator, only other largish operator I know of in North America

Basically a little too short ranged for North America, but they live on in Europe.
Those dumped at YYC are ex-Air Wisconsin. The other large operator was PSA whose fleet subsequently passed to US Airways. AirCal had a smaller number which ended up with American who got rid of them very quickly (along with all other vestiges of AirCal, but that's another story).
