My experience of codeshares with BA and AA is that they will have the flight number for the carrier operating the flight with a note with sold as

Eg. When flying with AA on a QF codeshare my BP stated

AA 88 as the flight number
with "Sold as QF3005" printed further down the BP

I have had the same with BA
