I've been lurking for a while but thought I'd break my silence and sign up....!

I'm taking two flights on sunday - LGW - JER, and JER - LGW to get the 45 points I need to advance from Blue to Silver.

3 Hours after my return to LGW, I'll be taking the first leg of a return flight from LHR - JFK.

Will my membership have become 'Silver' in time for me to access the BA Lounge at Terminal 5?

will my tier points for the New York flight accrue as I would expect (i.e. tier points reset to zero, and points added after compltion of the return flight)

Will the BA miles accrue as per the increased 'Silver' rate ( the miles calculator suggests I can earn more miles for the same flight with silver membership )

Appreciate any advice you guys can offer me...!
