Raffles mentions an Etihad fare of £1,675, which looks very attractive when you add together the 241 fees and HKG-SYD return cost. Plus if you have the assurance of a direct flight (with stopover) and not worrying about delays either inbound or outbound. Unless you fancy stopping off in HKG for a few days.
Good idea but as i need to fly in early Jan prices are high. Etihad is roughly £3k each in Business.
I think the HK in first 2 41 is good, i get a night or 2 on both legs in hk which is always fun as well.
