I recently missed a connex in SIN because I was delayed by a security scan on hand baggage on the way IN, even before collecting check-in bags and being asked to scan alll bags again.

Don't really understand what they are looking for. My Israeli friends tell me that it's a "Random" search for anything BUT it only ever happens to me on flights from Indonesia. So how random is that? Be warned!
