Thanks everyone for your comments. Unfortunately it looks like there is no real solution here. The JAL/BA lounge in FRA is not terrible, merely disappointing, but the BA lounge in AMS is dreadful. So much so that I usually forego even entering and instead work at the computer centre just outside any buy a beer from the bar. Any views on OW lounges at IST, FCO, MXP and VIE?
