Do you guys think that there is a scarcity element involved with decisions regarding miles? I personally have a lot of miles, so I have little incentive to try to save or economize on the spending of them. But if I had only enough for one award, I might want to try to stretch them out to get more trips.

Someone commented earlier in the thread that they would rather have 2 trips in economy than 1 trip in business or first. Would they make the same decision if they had a million miles in their account?
