Lounge at LAX

Hi all,

First post here. I've been reading this site loads and have decided to post for the first time. I hope this is the right forum!

In a few weeks I'm flying from LHR to LAX with Air NZ. I'm an Airpoints member, but this will be my first flight under the scheme.

On the way back (LAX to LHR) I'd like to know what lounges are available to me at LAX and what ones you'd recommend? I have done some research on this:

I gather that the Koru Club is available but membership seems very expensive (£250+ not including guests passes). I'm probably only going to be flying ANZ once a year, so not sure I can justify the cost. That said, I do have a very flexible budget so I can splash out if need be.

Are there any other lounges I can pay to enter, or any other schemes you'd recommend joining, or any other advantages that I can get with an ANZ scheme that would enable me to get into a lounge at LAX (I think it's terminal 2).

Any advice much appreciated, thanks!

Edit: I forgot to mention, I'm travelling with my wife and young 2 year old daughter.
