Same thing happened to me yesterday. I picked my bag up off the carousel, not really looking at it very closely. Today I was going to unpack it and found a TSA lock on it. Not mine. I called the luggage shop where we bought this Briggs and Riley bag and they said that they could probably take it off for me. I should have tried the default 000, but didn't. They did and it came right off. Sure enough there is a TSA notice of bag inspection inside. My wine was intact, thank goodness.
