Now I need advice on something: How to spot a Purple Elvis

When I asked AC yesterday about AC3979, it seemed to be Purple Elvis, but when i called AC today I have been told NO it is international configuration. How does one spot the Purple Elvis? AC said flight 3983 is international config, but the seat maps on aircanada.ca seem to be generic for all 300 series 767. Also, is Purple Elvis worth the experience for nostalgic reasons? I welcome your advice...
