The PNR for my last trip ended up having (not sure they were all ever in there at once, but at one point they all shared the same one!):
SFO-DTW-DCA//IAD-ATL-SFO//IAD-MSP-SFO//IAD-SLC-SFO//IAD-JFK-SLC x2 passengers
due to IROPS/VDBs.

A couple of trips that have fit into one PNR (both with NWA):
MSN-MSP-LAX-MSP-DTW-BUF-DTW-MSP-LAX-MSP-MSN
MSN-MSP-DTW-PDX-AMS-TLS-AMS-PDX-DTW-MSP-MSN
