Yes, it's an issue for me too. Here's what I do:

1) On my laptop, I connect using the "admiralsclub" SSID because it tends to have the fastest speed. (logging in with my AAdvantage number)

2) On my iPhone, I connect using the "tmobile" SSID. (logging in with my T-Mobile HotSpot account info)



The system is designed so that you can't log in with more than one device at a time. I suppose it is to prevent abuse.
