I am trying to take advantage of the latest (and soon to end, BA sale), and I want to book and upgrade a UK-US flight in November.

However, the miles I was expecting (that I was going to use to MFU) haven't been credited yet (should be later this week), so I was wondering if it is at all possible to see if a flight I book on BA.com will be able to be MFU'd before I actually click the Buy Now button.

I know the flight I want, and it is a price that suits, but only if I can MFU it later once I get my miles in a few days time.

Is it possible to check if the flight will be MFU eligible, or will that kind of info only become apparant once it is booked? (which would defeat the purpose).
