Once, on a non-US carrier returning from the Caribbean, we were shown a violent film with large explosions ocurring seemingly every minute or so, including an airplane explosion (I didn't actually watch the film, but the aircraft was one of those cavernous old L1011s with the huge projection screen at the front of the Y cabin, so pretty much it was all we could see.)

My mother, who gets nervous anyway when traveling, was not happy, to say the least.
