additional search. Yes, presenting ID is a search.
One such search may be 'reasonable' under the 4th, although the courts have placed limits on the extent of that search (which the TSA continues to ignore). A court might rule that additional searches are not 'reasonable'; I would hope so but I just don't see any such challenge coming soon.
