Smile Amusing story - not too few but too many FAs for a flight!

Hey, just thought I'd share this little amusing story with everyone...

We are all extremely used to having to wait for a delayed flight due to a lack of FAs for various issues -- delayed inbound, crew scheduling, etc ...

But, has anyone had the opposite occur? A delayed flight due to too many FAs?

Well, it happened to me last Wednesday night

On Wednesday, 7/14/10, DL # 9 from ATL-TPA ... the flight was initially delayed due to late inbound a/c, but once the a/c had deplaned, all of us waiting to do a quick turn-around and board were greeted by an amusing site... FAs frantically trying to get crew scheduling on the phone...

It appears that both a PMNW crew and a PMDL crew had been scheduled to work the flight ... and, no one could figure out which crew was to work the flight. It was on PMNW metal -- one of the horrendous old 757s -- and it was just amusing to watch two groups of FAs try to figure out who had to actually work it ...

Just a nice change from the usual lack of flight crews
