First, the rooms are also called the Honeymoon Suite and it's quietly known as the Marilyn Monroe rooms - because this is where she preferred to stay.

The bedroom is substantial with a small 1/2 bath. A fireplace needs only a match. The main bathroom is quite large and has a jacuzzi with a large picture window overlooking the Pacific. (relax - it's one-way glass, and there's relatively no foot traffic passing by). Separate shower and WC. You can also enjoy the fireplace as you bathe - it's across from the tub and is fully stocked with wood and kindling.

The living/dining room is three steps down to your right and isn't oversized but certainly substantial. Flat screen TV, and of course, yet another fireplace. Furniture is cozy and comfortable. Oh, and at the top of the steps you have a small, under counter refrigerator, a sink, and a Keurig coffee maker.

All three rooms are in a line and all parallel the ocean with lovely views. There are some trees that may obstruct portions of the vista, but it certainly never detracted from what we could see. The suite itself was quiet, private and thoroughly delightful.

Breakfast at the retaurant was yummy, great cappuccinos and eggs with smoked salmon.

I love this resort/hotel. The service is exemplary, diamonds are welcomed, appreciated, and treated very, very well. Oh, and yes, this was a BWB award stay.
Thank you for the report and yes this is one of my favorite place as well.
Hope to use my BWB before the end of August.
