"Monday 19 July 2010
Industrial action by air traffic controllers scheduled for Wednesday 21 July 2010, has forced the French Civil Aviation Authority (Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile - DGAC), to limit the number of flights by all airlines.
Consequently, on the 21 July Air France has scheduled to operate:
- 100 % of its long-haul flights,
- 80% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Charles de Gaulle,
- 50% of its short- and medium-haul flights at Paris-Orly.
Some cancellations cannot be ruled out during the day. Some flights may also be delayed.
Air France will do its utmost to ensure that all its passengers reach their final destination.
All the airline’s staff at airports and in sales are at the ready to keep customers informed if their flight has to be cancelled and in exchange offer an alternative method of transportation either with Air France or KLM via Amsterdam or with another SkyTeam member airline.
Passenger Information:
Those flights cancelled on 21 July will be published tomorrow, Tuesday 20 July, at the beginning of the afternoon."
