Well, it seems the rumours were partially right: the full spec of the LX5 is no out and an announcement this week seems likely. The sensor is not 4/3 but still a good sized 1/1.63". The lens is a bright 2.0 - 3.3 with 3.8X optical zoom. And yes, it does 720p HD video. Full spec here.
