Thats one of numerous crashes at SBH over the years. I found the layed back attitude of the people funny. One guy kinda slowly walks over the plane. I do not thinking the kayaker, in the bay, did anything.
One even killed around 10 people a few years ago. However it was not the airport that caused the crash, but more of the pilot reversing one of the engines and impacting the hill. I been told there is onboard footage of the crash. Though I think it was never released.
I learned SCUBA there when I was 14 and my first "wreck dive" was a Cessna 402 100 m past the end of the runway. It's a pretty cool island, but now that I'm an adult, I understand that it isn't a budget vacation spot by any means.
