On a separate note, have any FT-er ever sat in rows 6 or 7 in Economy on Finnair Airbus 340? This is the small business class cabin, but from what I see it is sometimes open as Economy class.

First time I was seated in 6J, I thought it's because of my AA elite status. However, on another trip I just asked if row 6 or 7 is available, and was given a nice business class seat without even showing my elite card. The Finnair call center in the US mentioned that these seats are "airport control".
