1) Start IFE straight away (why wait 20 mins or sometimes longer into the flight)
2) Dedicate the 2 first security gates at the top of the T5 escalators as you come up from the FCC (and make sure they are always open! - the other day I was told off for going under the rope into what was marked as the fast track lane. Little lady from BAA came up shouting at me + 2 others CW pax to get back in line. When I pointed out that we were trying to get into the fast lane she told us that it was closed before 6am and that we should arrange our flights accordingly if we wanted to use it!
3) When bags are not on board have CSD come up to inform pax (instead of having them wait 45 mins on other end - where the groundcrew already have a list of luggage that didn't connect).
4) No idea how busy Special Services are but if they have time wouldn't it be a great idea if they then target BA gold's or F flyers and assist these (would be a very effective way to make people feel welcome/ special)
