I looked on the AC website and couldn't find a definition so called and AC reservations claims it is "refreshments only" for this 2.5hr flight. When I look at the meal in Y it says "Meals Available for Purchase" so something doesn't make sense here (in J there are only refreshments, sure I get free liquor, but then to eat I need to go back to Y to buy a sandwich?!).
Not sure about that particular route, however on Rapidair routes you are presented with a cheese plate as the "snack". As your flight is 2.5 hours, I suspect you will get a meal though.
