just talked to a CSR about this offer. for me, it is the whole month transactions that are counted. She assured me they go by transaction date, not posting dates and that from the 1st of april to the 30th will count. Would seem odd that it was not that way for all those targeted for this offer. yMMV, obviously.
Well if this was the case I would have had 50 transactions in may and received my 3000 miles instead of ending up with 49 transactions and 1000 miles
Also got screwed in June when my card was closed due to fraudulent transactions on a Thursday (Sunday was statement closing) and instead of overnighting me the new card as requested and confirmed I was sent my card via regular mail a few days later and only 9 days later received the card. Btw I needed 12 more transactions and had 15 on my new Amex SPG card during the 2 days that I would have been using my chase card.
I am really starting to ask my self why I still pay chase $85 per year.
