Another related question - on CO the elites can book in Y and get seat assignments in F for some routes. When you login as an elite they show these options on the website but you can not see them as a regular customer. As silver on CO I can see them but I am wondering if 1P on UA will soon have this availability? I am planning on ditching my elite status on CO mainly because I only fly them specific routes and I got silver last year because of a europe trip on CO and a couple of transcons before they joined *A. This is very relevant for govt business as they will cover Y but not F.
