Just a guess, I'd imagine it was because it was a non-fatal event. BA came out looking quite good after that crash (ironically) and despite Peter Burkill's criticism of BA, I haven't really heard this in the media. I guess BA wanted to have the spotlight on the saving of the flight, not on its demise.
