I've had this done in DEL when I had to go back out of the secure area when I realised that the lounges were outside the secure area. All that happens is that one of the security officers stamps "canceled" across the exisiting security stamp on your BP that shows you have cleared security. Your BP is not canceled. You can use the same BP to clear security again - they'll just put a second stamp on it.
