Allegiant Airlines announced flights between Long Beach and Colorado Springs, Colo., beginning Sept. 15 and to and from Idaho Falls beginning Oct. 8.
Flights to Colorado Springs - with service Wednesdays and Saturdays - will leave Colorado at 9:25 a.m. and come to Long Beach at 10:40 a.m. Flights from Long Beach will leave at 11:20 a.m. and arrive at Colorado Springs at 2:30 p.m.
The Idaho Falls route will operate twice weekly, with service Monday and Friday, according to the city.
Flights depart Long Beach at 3:50 p.m. and arrive in Idaho at 7 p.m. Flights from Idaho leave at 2 p.m. and arrive in Long Beach at 3:10 p.m.
Allegiant also announced flights between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Colorado Springs Airport, also starting Sept. 15.
Earlier this month, the air carrier began offering five nonstop flights weekly to Stockton and three to Bellingham.
MD-80s instead of RJs to COS! Now if they could only fly LGB-LAS, compete with B6 on the route, and feed their LAS hub. Then I could fly from LGB to Peoria or Fargo on the cheap.
