I have the same situation and, far as I know, your only option is to be first in line when OLCI opens.
Not printing your boarding pass does enable you to go back into OLCI later and you can even change your seat but I don't know if it would enable you to snag a previously allocated seat from someone who has cancelled - I guess it would.....
