Bleh. Yeah, I found the same thing on the UA web site: "Mileage Plus elite members now enjoy Unlimited Domestic Upgrades on United flights. We're happy to announce that elite members will also enjoy similar privileges when you fly on Continental. These new seating benefits will start to roll out in mid-2010."

I just ticketed a September 21 itin, LAX-STT, on CO. I'm United 1K but don't have any status on CO... so I guess I'll just hope (fingers crossed!) that they get UDU in place on CO before I am schedule to depart! :-)

Anyone know if I can call CO now, and get myself into the exit row, at least? Other comments in this thread seem to imply that you have to wait until you're at the gate and sweet-talk yourself into the exit row... I'd love to do anything I can before then to try to get myself out of this E- seat.
