It's really interesting to read from the security " experts " on here that proper screening of liquids and laptops and the subject of unattended baggage in an airport really don't constitute safety risks and are really just a way of governments all over the world conning millions of air passengers into thinking they're safe.

I must remember next time I have to remove my shoes and belt and see bins full of liquid bottles confiscated from passengers and listen to announcements about unattended baggage in airports and see regular patrols by armed police that all these are a complete waste of time.

I mean, why do these terrorist even bother going to the extent of trying to conceal explosives in their shoes and underpants or bottles of drink in their luggage if they're going to be caught by covert security they'll likely never see.

I've never read such utter bollocks in my life.
