..our oldest was flying with a cold at 13 months and after being wonderful for ~5 hours of the flight to San Juan, the descent killed him...he was crying so hard he actually threw up...we tried everything we could to calm him down, but nothing would stop him...we apologized profusely to the people around us...and to a person they were all very nice about it...that's all I think anyone asks for from a parent is some effort...just do SOMETHING!

thewholeway. I felt so bad for baby and parents! They tried everything - I tried everything. He just was so upset (maybe an ear problem, what do I know?) he couldn't stop. I didn't get mad because of exactly what you said - they were trying and plus that isn't bad behavior - it's bad luck on my part!
