Whack it over the head with a magazine? No, of course not - I'm not interested in an assault charge. Of course I would probably wish I could and thinking about it might help me feel slightly better while my seat was kicked.

I would, however, escalate the situation with crew and the parents - and get quite loud about it, if need be. I have the right of peaceful enjoyment of the seat that I paid for.

If children cannot be controlled and kept quiet on a plane, they have no business being there....and the same goes for obnoxious adults.
