Granny should check her bag in at ticket counter so she doesnt have to rely on employees to carry her bag..My mother is older and pays to check her bag because she knows it would be hard for her to carry it herself..I am shocked that granny expects the airline employees to carry her bag that she packed when she is not willing to do it herself? Did you see that the "bag" weighed 3 lbs and had only medicine and water? And it was to go under the seat in front of "Granny", not requiring "heavy" lifting on the part of the GA or the FA. If a FA can't slip a 3lb bag of medicine under a seat for a passenger with this limited mobility, then I really do question whether or not they are going to be able to assist with any situations that require them to be there "primarily for my safety".
