Wow if rev mgmt isn't even allowing SWU waitlisting for certain markets then that is total BS. Talk about circumventing and making the "new and improved" SWUs useless if you can't even get on the waitlist. No waitlist = no dame day standby = no gate upgrade even if seats available.

And yes, the same day upgrade only works on DL metal... the KLM computer system and agents don't know what to do with a SWU at the gate.
