I agree.

That said, keep in mind of promotions like DEQM. I have also received several "discretionary" benefits this year as a DL; the biggest being an op-up on a TPAC flight that I'm 100% certain I would not have recd as a PM. I, too, contemplated stopping short last year and rolling over a boatload of EQM but I ended up going for it. I must be one of the happy DM's because I'm enjoying this status quite a bit.
