In your place, I would look at some of the AA partners, try to earn an extra 2500 miles, then use them for a one-way domestic award ticket.
Or apply for an AA credit card with a 30,000 mile bonus, then buy a round-trip ticket to Europe.
Thanks for the advice, I'm mostly just wondering if there is a path to conversion other than HHonors or Diners Club. Anyone know?
