I still can't find out if CX will have moved to T3 by Sept though. It makes a difference in which hotel we book for the last night before the 0600 flight since we have to check in around 0330-0400.
You can probably check in around 4:30am as there's not that many flights out of NAIA 1. It will take you 15 minutes to get to the airport from Makati at that early hour.

I seriously doubt any move by CX before a serviceable lounge is in place at NAIA 3.

As for DMIA being the premier gateway....yep..no chance in hell and no way, I would rely on a hi-speed rail being built.
