I like August. Its warmer. If you like the winter chill Oct-May. If you prefer a bit of warmer weather August is best. 70's is better than 30's to me anyday. It's a great trip, I love going but a few days is plenty and don't forget added cost (and time) of Visa. Moscow is a great place to visit. Its very much worth the trip if you've never been. Very interestiing and mind blowing.
