Flight 4298 arrives IND at 2:14pm and the next departing flight back to ORD is Flight 4337 departing at 2:46pm. Should I be able to make this connection? Can anyone confirm if the same aircraft is used for both flights? I'm assumming I'll already have my boarding passes upon arrival in IND, so all I should have to do is get to the departure gate, correct?
Thanks

It is AA's policy to give only one-way boarding passes at check-in at the origin airport, even for same-day round trips. So when you check in at ORD, you will be checked in for both ORD-IND and IND-ORD, but you will need to wait to get your printed boarding pass for the return segment once you reach IND. From the scheduling, it looks like it will be a same equipment turn-around, so when you exit the plane in IND, simply walk straight to the gate agent with your ID in hand and get your return boarding pass printed.

It worked exactly this way when I did LGA-MDW-LGA in October, and I have no reason to believe that it won't work the same way for you. You won't have to worry about the short connection time because the return flight can't leave until you and your outbound plane arrive!
