That was my problem - I got there before I had a BP and they wouldn't let me through and there wasn't anyone working. I had to pitch a fit before someone from AA eventually came down to collect me.
Good for you, too many people would have just let these 'employees' off the hook and tottered back out of security. Why is it so hard to maintain reliable staffing at an important international airport like this? We all should complain whenever we find service levels dropping; it has become like a war for companies against their customers, I swear.
