FREE Service Improvement Tips for Willie!

Given all the challenges faced by WW and BA in recent times and what with the problems of Icelandic smokers, incompetent bankers and unmentionable strikers, we all know that BA has had to cut a few corners of late in order to keep the flag flying. I know many of us have been rather bemused (yes, that is the british art of understatement ) by many of the "enhancements" and we all pick up on things that "could be done better", so why don't we club together a build a thread of "good ideas" which are ideally free (or at least cheap) to implement which might help Uncle Willie get BA back to being the World's Favourite Airline even in these harsh economic times. As a starter for 10, I would propose:

1) Adopting a better priority boarding process (see previous threads!)

2) The ability for SCHs and GCHs to buy a LIMITED number of extra "lounge entry" tickets each year - 1 guest just doesn't help me when I fly one or twice a year with Mrs AF and the arctic cubs! - or a couple of extra "lounge entry" tickets when hitting a certain number of tier points over the basic threshold. BA would immediately get an extra 16 seats filled a year from me alone.

3) A change from inedible bird seed and cloying biscuits to equivalently priced snacks which people might actually enjoy

4) All ticket desk staff to be trained by Mr bealine in "the art of passport passing" and other such nice little touches.

I'm hoping you will all contribute your wise counsel in the most positive of ways (or is that just wishful thinking? )
