Depending on the empty weight of your luggage, 20kg really isn't a lot of weight, especially if you are planning on lots of shopping. You can check more on your return - for a fee. Easyjet is great at charging extra fees. Weigh your luggage empty to determine how much you can actually stuff in it. In this case, non-rollers and lightweight duffle bags can be a help

You can put anything you want (obvious exceptions for liquids, etc.) in your hand luggage. Yes, for easyjet is there is likely a size and weight limit for hand luggage and you'll have to check their website for that.
