There has to be low award KLM inventory (a Flying Blue 'classic' award) in order to be able to use Delta miles for KLM flights.

Can you be a little more specific about origin, destination, class of service, and desired dates of travel? Have you called Delta, or strictly tried online search with the award calendar?
