I have taken this flight, and am surprised you have a 2 hour layover in Ayers Rock. I thought it was about 1 hour 20 minutes layover on this flight, but the layover may have increased over the last couple of years.

We didn't have time to leave the airport. Although you can see the Rock from the airport, it is still a considerable distance away. But with 2 hours you might just be able to do it. You will certainly get closer....

You certainly have great views of the Rock as you land (I was on the A side of the aircraft). I believe we also flew over the Olgas.

A really memorable flight.
