I realize I'm looking for anecdotal evidence here, but would be curious to hear from those who frequent the route.
I don't frequent this route, but I know that upgrades are difficult in the summer months, even for Golds... PDX-BOS is easier than SEA-BOS... Other than that, I'll leave it for someone with more experience like CDKing to answer your questions
