The cash portion, in effect, is to purchase additional Starpoints for the award. It is still an award stay. You also pay resort fee, parking and other incidentals for full point awards. If you award 1/2 stay credit for cash+points, then you should award 1/4 stay credit for awards with incidentals. How about stays with parking charge only? 1/8 stay credit?
